
The George Mason Girls basketball team takes its 16-8 season on the road tomorrow at 6:30 p.m., advancing to the Regional Semifinals game at William Monroe. The Lady Mustangs defeated Goochland 58-36 in Tuesday night's quarterfinal matchup.

Save the date! March 11 is the GMHS International Night starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Mustang Cafe, followed by the Sophomore Personal Project Showcase at 7:00 p.m. in the Main and Aux Gyms. All are welcome!

We are in contact with the Incident Commander on scene. He indicated emergency vehicles would likely be at the house for another 2 more hours. If correct that would mean the vehicles will be leaving the area well before dismissal.

Update on house fire near TJ. The house in question is approximately one block north of TJ, across the street from the TJ soccer field. There is no threat to TJ property or kids. TJ students will remain inside, which they would anyway due to the rain. 1/2

Fire Departments are responding to a house fire near TJ Elementary. Oak Street between West Broad and Seaton Avenue will be closed. Please use the rear entrance of TJ until further notice. The building is not in danger.
