Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School and Meridian High School will dismiss 30 minutes early — at 2:30 p.m. in order to get our students home safely. Radar models predict intense rain around 3 pm, the normal dismissal time. Staff will remain on-site until students are gone.

Afterschool activities for Falls Church City Public Schools are canceled for today. Day Care will remain open, but parents are urged to pick up their children as soon as possible. Late Fees will apply. Meridian Virtual Back to School Night WILL be held as scheduled.

Important Notice for those students enrolled in the FCCPS Backpack Nutritional Program: Due to the upcoming holiday weekend, the Backpack Program distribution will be this Thursday, September 2nd, as schools will be closed on Friday.
