TESTING SITES IN/NEAR FALLS CHURCH

This list is intended to provide information about COVID-19 testing sites in and near Falls Church. It may not include all testing locations available in the area. Testing locations listed are subject to change (may no longer perform COVID-19 testing services). Listing of a testing location does not constitute endorsement by FCCPS.

Check with your physician. Many offices have tests available, or can direct you to their preferred testing location.

FREE TESTING from Virginia Department of Health

Fairfax Health District

Beginning January 15, 2022, Virginia Department of Health will open a Community Testing Center in the Fairfax Health District that will offer free PCR tests by appointment. 

Location: Fairfax County Government Center, Parking Lot B in a large tent.
Open: Saturday through Wednesday 9:00am - 5:30 pm by appointment only.
Appointments typically become available 24 hours in advance.  If you do not see appointments, check back as more will be added on a regular basis. If using 22046 as zip code, set the distance range to 25 miles to include the Government Center.

FREE At-Home Tests from Federal Government

Starting Jan. 19, visit https://www.covidtests.gov/ to order free at-home tests from the Federal government. Tests and shipping are free, and will be delivered to your home.

OTHER LOCAL TESTING SITES

Arlington County curative Testing Kiosks

There are several sites in Arlington County that are run by curative. Falls Church residents can use this service. They are by appointment only. Same-day appointments are often available.
Several hundred on-demand PCR test slots are available every day.

CVS

At-home tests: Falls Church CVS locations sometimes have over the counter tests in stock, but the delivery is sporadic, and they are purchased quickly. It is always a good idea to ask at the register to see if any are available.

PCR tests: CVS does PCR testing through the Minute Clinic. Doctor’s order is not required.
Wait time to get an appointment is several days.

This is a doctor’s office, so you must be seen by a doctor prior to having a test. No appointment needed, but there is a wait to be seen. Patients are asked to wait in their cars after checking in at the reception desk.
