Meridian High School is a candidate school for Career-related Programme authorization.
CP allows schools to meet diverse needs and backgrounds of students while they engage in studies that spark interest and passion. The programme encourages students to gain transferable and lifelong skills.
What is the CP?
The Career-related programme encompasses coursework from the IB Diploma Programme (DP) with the CP core, which includes:
Personal and Professional Skills course
Service learning
Reflective project
Language portfolio
The six DP subject groups are:
Studies in language and literature
Language acquisition
Individuals and societies
Sciences.
Mathematics
The arts.
Students who do not wish to pursue the full diploma may still take DP courses from the six subject groups. Students who fulfill the requirements for these courses will receive an IB certificate for each of these classes.
