GIVE Day

GIVE Day is a school-wide community service event held on Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Service projects are led and executed by students at the elementary, middle and high school levels.

This year's event took place on Monday, January 15, 2024 and yielded the following results:

  • Over 1700 Power Packs were assembled and several hundred pounds of canned goods delivered to local food bank Food for Others

  • Over 25,000 oatmeal kits were packaged for The Outreach Program to be distributed locally and in Ukraine

  • Students made homemade cards to be included in Welcome Kits for New Hope Housing families

  • Enrichment toys were made by students for animals at the local pet shelter

  • Bake sale generated funds and awareness for local organization Welcoming Falls Church

  • INOVA Bloodmobile was on site for those donating the much-needed gift of blood

  • And over 500 students and families participated for a day ON of service and community building!

Corporate sponsors are critical to the success of the event to ensure funding for programming and supplies.

This year's sponsors donated a collective $11,750 to support GIVE Day.

Thank you!
