Support Staff Employee of the Year Nominees

Nominees Announced for 2018 Support Staff Employee of the Year Award

FCCPS is pleased to recognize eight nominees for the Support Staff Employee of the Year Award. Colleagues, parents and community members nominated these outstanding employees in appreciation of the exceptional service to the school community. The eight nominees were surprised by the FCCPS Prize Patrol in their schools and offices.

Support staff employees assist teachers and administrators in providing services to the instructional program and facilities. They include paraprofessionals, office staff, health aides and Central Office specialists and administrative assistants, as well as employees in these departments: Transportation, Food Services, Day Care, Maintenance Services and Custodial Services.

Nominees have been employed by FCCPS for at least five years, and meet the following criteria:

  1. Provide outstanding service that supports our students, staff, parents or facilities.
  2. Foster cooperative relationships with colleagues, parents and the community.
  3. Understand and assist with the individual needs of their constituents.
  4. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of skills and expertise required to perform job responsibilities effectively.

A panel of judges will select and announce the winner in late April. We'll recognize all nominees during the FCCPS Celebration of Excellence in May (date to be determined).
