Tim Kasik to begin as MD Principal July 1

Following an extensive search, and recommendation of a search panel, the Falls Church City Public Schools School Board is appointing Mr. Timothy Kasik as the new principal of Mount Daniel Elementary School. Mr. Kasik is finishing his eighth year as principal of Crestwood Elementary School in Springfield, Virginia and who also happens to be an FCCPS parent.

Henderson History Teacher 2018 Teacher of the Year

Mary Ellen Henderson World History and Geography Teacher, Farrell Kelly, is the 2018 Falls Church Education Foundation (FCEF) Teacher of the Year award recipient. A panel of judges chose Kelly and was awarded $1500 from the FCEF. He was also a finalist in the Washington Post Teacher of the Year Award.
