EMERGENCY WEATHER PROCEDURES

On days of inclement weather, FCCPS school closing information is available to all employees and the public via local radio and television stations, FCC-TV Cable Channel 12, the division Web site (click here for special announcements) and the FCCPS information hotline:

School Closing Codes

Schools Open Late	Essential employees* and food service employees report on time All other employees report as soon as safely possible. No leave charged for delayed arrival up to two hours after regular reporting time. Day care opens on time (7:00 a.m.) at Mt. Daniel and TJ only. Employees who take a day's leave are charged for their regular work hours. If delayed opening falls on early dismissal Wednesday, there will be no early dismissal. The building principal or supervisor designates one person to open the office on time and to provide communication between sites and the public. Community Education classes, activities and rentals are as scheduled, unless otherwise determined.
