After months of planning and design, signs announcing the first real visible phase of the Thomas Jefferson Elementary expansion went up yesterday right on schedule.
June 18th, the Monday following the last day of school, construction crews begin arriving to prepare for the new three story wing.
Construction is scheduled to be completed next May leaving plenty of time to make the transfer of the fifth grade back to Thomas Jefferson in time for the first day of school in 2013.
