MD logoA LESSON IN THE ART OF WATERCOLOR

It wasn't all that long ago when these budding Mount Daniel School artists would have been happy using just their fingers to paint. This week, Mr. Spindle's class was in rapt attention as art teacher Jan Garrett gave them pointers on the fine art of watercolor before each of them gave it a try.

March MayhemIT'S OFFICIAL:
'MARCH MAYHEM' - A SELL OUT!!

March Mayhem is TOMORROW NIGHT!

First, the good news ...
As of today, one of our most popular PTA events has officially sold out!  Thank you all!

Now, some not-so-good news ...
If you didn't already purchase your ticket, you won't be able to attend the game in the MEHMS gym. Strict fire laws prohibit us from squeezing any more than the allowable number of fans into this space. We hope you understand.

And finally, some good news again!
If you didn't buy a ticket, don't despair. You can still take part in the fun of March Mayhem! Join friends and family in the MEH cafeteria, where the game will be broadcast live, and be that much closer to the pizza, snacks and great raffle baskets for last-minute ballot-box stuffing. So even if you missed buying a ticket, you won't miss the fun.

TJ logoPYP MINUTE - CHINESE FESTIVAL

The second grade students at Thomas Jefferson Elementary recently participated in a Chinese Festival to celebrate what they had learned about the ancient civilization. They wanted to learn more about Chinese culture and tradition, but since Falls Church school buses can't travel across the ocean, they decided to bring a little of China to Falls Church.
