Mount Daniel Elementary School provides kindergarten and first grade students a safe, warm and nurturing learning environment.

It has long been recognized as a school of excellence by the U.S. Department of Education and the Virginia Department of Education.

The school also offers preschool education for special needs students and the Family Literacy Program - an integrated educational experience for parents and their children, which encourages a collaborative partnership among home, school, and community.
