Mary Ellen Henderson
Middle School
Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School opened its doors in September, 2005 replacing George Mason Middle School, which had been located in the division's high school building next door.
The school serves a student population in grades 5 - 7 and offers a progressive, enriching, differentiated curriculum that challenges students to pursue a wide variety of interests in an effort to help guide future academic and career goals.
Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School continues to operate with a standard of excellence that earned the former middle school recognition by the U.S. Department of Education and the Virginia Department of Education. |
