Some of the FCCPS principals and administrators met to create the Triennial Plan

FCCPS is in the process of updating our Triennial Plan. This plan is our working document that drives and supports the actions we take in the school division.

The plan is meant to identify our division priorities, indicate strategies that will support the priorities, and offer work plans that will support the associated strategies. As you review these pages, this first page outlines our priorities and the strategies (think executive summary) and the rest outline the work behind the plan.

The Triennial Plan is important to the division and this year represents a departure from what has been in place. It gives a longer range look and represents ongoing projects and processes over the length of the plan (3 years). Additionally, it provides our best thinking about where we are relative to each strategy - Green (good and ongoing), Yellow (imperfect and needing support), and Red (not happening and needs to be addressed).

It is also presumed that there are other operation and instructional activities that occur throughout the school year that are not captured exactly in the plan - the overarching belief is that if everything is important, nothing is important.

On August 22nd and August 31st, Dr. Noonan will hold two forums for anyone interested in providing feedback about this plan.
