The issue is the future Falls Church City Center, and George Mason High School students will serve as moderators during Deliberation Day 2007. It’s all part of Deliberation Falls Church City, which gives those who live, or work in Falls Church City an opportunity to share their thoughts about important issues. Participants must be of high school age or older.
This year, George Mason High School band members will provide on-site child care during Deliberation Night and Deliberation Day, so parents can participate and be close to their children. Participants have two opportunities to share their thoughts this year:
Deliberation Night
Thursday, October 25th
7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School
Deliberation Day
Saturday, October 27th
1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School
Both sessions are free of charge, although parents who use child care are encouraged to make a contribution to the high school band boosters. For more information about Deliberation Falls Church City and to pre-register for on-site child care, visit www.dfccva.org.
