The TAAP Stretch and Challenge Class schedule (classes running either 1st or 2nd semesters) allow our students to participate in The Stock Market Game. You can learn about this exciting simulation at www.stockmarketgame.org.
All students at MEHMS will learn about a writing competition, “Letters About Literature” through their  Language Arts classes.  Students may participate by writing a letter to their favorite author. This competition is offered by the Library of Congress. More information is at www.loc.gov/cfbook/letters. Letter submissions are due the first week of December.
The Geography Bee will be held in early January. Students will complete against their grade-level peers in December to qualify for the school-wide Bee. Go to www.nationalgeographic.com/geobee to learn more about it and access information to help your child prepare.
