6th Grader Malaika Pasch broke the MEHMS Girl's FitnessGram PACER Test record today in PE class.
Reaching 105, she broke the previous girl's record of 102 and was only five away from breaking the all-time MEHMS record for both boys and girls at 110!
The PACER (Progressive Aerobic Cardiovascular Endurance Run) is a multi-stage fitness test adapted from the 20-meter shuttle run. The test is progressive in intensity - it is easy at the beginning and gets harder at the end. (FitnessGram.net)

MEH Lunch Services is collaborating with the Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association to promote the importance of eating breakfast and drinking milk! From May 13 - 24, students can participate in a drawing for a $100 Target gift card by purchasing breakfast with milk before school.
An entry is created whenever a student buys breakfast and milk from the cafeteria before school. Winners will be drawn at random. There will be two winners in this contest - one for each week.
Mark your calendars! The MEH Field Day will be on Monday, June 10.
Parents will be needed to man fun field day stations either in the morning or the afternoon as well as donate/lend items such as coolers, water, ice etc.
