What: A group of 7th grade students campaigned as part of their Civics project to have a 4-vs.-4 basketball tournament to raise money to fund more election campaign projects.  The money will help support a student-run committee who, for example, may welcome rising 5th grade and new students to MEHMS!

When:2:30 - 4 pm (Students can ride the late bus!)
Tuesday, May 1 (5th Grade Tournament)
Tuesday, May 8 (7th Grade Tournament)
Thursday, May 10 (6th Grade Tournament)

Where: MEHMS Gym

Who:Any MEHMS student can form or join a four-member basketball team and enter the tournament.  Teams will
compete in grade level brackets based on highest grade level of the participants on the team.  The Tournament
is co-ed, so your team can be made up of all girls, all boys, or a combo of both.

Entry Fee:$20 ($5 per team member) - make checks payable to Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School

Teams must have a signed permission slip for each participant and must agree to play by the rules listed on the back of the permission slip.  Teams must submit their entry forms to Mr. Dippold by no later than 2:30 pm on Thursday, April 26th.  Mr. Dippold will be collecting the entry forms in the cafetorium during lunch, or you may drop it off for him at the Main Office.
