Mary Ellen Henderson Reopens Friday, October 19th

Mary Ellen Henderson will return to full operation on Friday, October 19th.

A broken sewer line in one of our pumps was repaired early today. Since that time, a professional company FCCPS hired yesterday to clean and sanitize the building has been hard at work. Their task is expected to be concluded later this evening. While seepage from the broken line was contained to a very small area in the basement, both the lower and first floors of the building are undergoing the thorough cleaning.

One more note, tonight’s scheduled volleyball matches between George Mason and Rappahannock County have been postponed until this coming Monday evening. Again we appreciate your patience during this day of inconvenience on all of us.

Please know that we take the cancellation of classes very seriously and do so only when absolutely necessary.
