"We do more before 7:30 AM than you do ALL DAY!"
Research shows that exercise improves brain function. At 7 am every Tuesday and Thursday morning, a group of MEH students arrive at school to participate in a CrossFit Kids style workout. Workouts consist of constantly varied, functional movements that deliver a fitness that is broad, inclusive, general, and scaleable for participants at any level.
Students improve physical competence in 10 fitness domains: cardiovascular and respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy.
Students were rewarded with t-shirts for their hard work and commitment.
