Early release due to “snow-pocalypse”

Unlike years past, the snowfall this year has caused many days off from school, building up anticipation for the big snowstorm (dubbed, the "snow-pocalypse") that has been predicted for this weekend. Rumors began Thursday that there would be no schoolon Friday because Fairfax County and Arlington schools were declared closed. Cupcakes anyone?

After weeks of anticipation and hours of serious baking, the SCA hosts the first ever cupcake day. Now it's not a celebration of cupcakes or honoring of cupcakes, it's simply a present for every student and faculty member at the school. Student-teacher basketball game Wednesday

Revive Week festivities begin today and continue throughout this week with the intent of raising spirits as students enter the new semester, as well as raising money for the Haiti relief effort. The student-teacher basketball game will take place Wednesday at 7:30 in "The Pit," with the $3 admissions going to the Haiti relief effort. International club brings aid to midterm-crazed students

A few weeks before the end of the semester, the International Club announced that they would be selling mid-term care packages. Ms. Kao along with all the student members of the International Club was there to cure your mid-term hunger pains. The International Club sold the baskets in hopes of raising enough money to send to a Sudan girl they have sponsored.

Student-faculty basketball game set for Wednesday of Revive Week

The annual student-faculty basketball game will be held on Wednesday, February 3 at 7:00 p.m. in "The Pitt" of George Mason High School. George Mason's finest teachers and students will be playing to raise money for Haiti relief. All are encouraged to attend and root on the team of choice.
