5TH CONSECUTIVE TITLE IS A RECORD TO CALL ALL THEIR OWN

The George Mason Girls Soccer team accomplished a feat never before recorded in the history of Virginia athletics - winning 5 consecutive VHSL state championships (7th in team's history). They did it Saturday in a 4-0 shutout of Graham High School.

On Thursday at the VHSL Boys Singles Tennis Tournament at Radford University, Kan Tagami, the Region B champion, defeated Gate City's John Ferguson 6-4, 6-1 in the semi-final match and George Wythe High School's Rhodes Kline 6-2, 6-2 clinch the title.
