Tagami Wins 2nd Straight VHSL Title

GM LogoTAGAMI MAKES IT TWO IN A ROW

Kan Tagami was congratulated by his parents, John and Lori Tagami, after becoming only the second George Mason Mustang to ever win two state titles as a singles player.

On Thursday at the VHSL Boys Singles Tennis Tournament at Radford University, Tagami, the Region B champion, defeated Gate City's John Ferguson 6-4, 6-1 in the semi-final match and George Wythe High School's Rhodes Kline 6-2, 6-2 clinch the title.

12:00 p.m. - Mason vs. Rappahannock - VHSL Semi Finals (Boys Team Tennis)
  3:00 p.m. - Mason vs. Parry McCluer - VHSL Semi Finals (Boys Doubles Tennis)

Saturday: (if they advance on Friday)

  9:00 a.m. - Mason at VHSL Finals (Boys Team Tennis)
10:00 a.m. - Mason at VHSL Semi Finals (Girls Soccer)
12:00 p.m. - Mason at VHSL Finals (Doubles Boys Tennis)
