The boy's varsity tennis team traveled down south 3 1/2 hours to play against Randolph Henry High School's Statesmen in Charlotte Court House. Mason began their warm ups and routines early with one thing on their mind, "Another win makes it 10 years in a row winning region B team championship."
Game-Set-Match 6 times for the team's win. Next stop, Radford and the VHSL State Tournament.
WEBER & CAMPANELLA-DYSART WIN REGION B DOUBLES CHAMPIONSHIP
Tommy Weber (Junior) & Karl Campanella-Dysart (Senior) continued their dominance earlier this week by winning the region B doubles championship over both regional opponents from Randolph Henry HS and Wilson Memorial HS.
Weber and Campanella-Dysart first played against Randolph Henry HS in the regional semi-finals.
Weber's stats included 3 aces and 5 winners ranging from forehand volleys, and several forehand return of serve. Campanella-Dysart added 2 aces and 6 winners.
