SO LET'S CATCH UP! MUSTANGS STILL IN THE RUNNING . .

GMHS 4x100 Relay

gm logoMASON TRACK - The Mason Girls and Boys competed in the Region B Tourney last night. The girls finished 2nd in the Bull Run District overall and in the 4X100 relay where the team of Lauren Bolling and Alexandra Hairston (above) along with Margarita Shevchenko and Tara Holman set a new school record of 51.82. The boys team finished 4th in the District.

Also competing in the regionals were: Sumner Askin, Preston Custer, Will Nunley, James Odon, Jesse Schaffer, Claire Constance, Michelle DeMars, Alicia Devereaux, Eva Estrada, Julie Estrada, Kaitlin Kutchma, Charlotte Lathrop, Emily Rueckert, Lu Sevier, and Emma Vieillescazes.

Many student athletes have qualified for the State Meet on June 2nd.

GIRLS SOCCER - The Mason Girls are seeking a 5th consecutive VHSL State Championship. They play tonight at 7:00 p.m. at GMHS in the Bull Run District Finals against Clarke County.

Baby bunny found at Mt. DanielBOYS TENNIS - Senior Kan Tagami (right) won the Region B Tournament for the third straight year, and is looking to capture his third state singles title.

The Region B semi final team match is today at 1:30 p.m. at Wilson Memorial HS. Next Tuesday, Tommy Weber and Karl Campanella-Dysart play in the Region B doubles tournament held at Wilson Memorial for a chance at going to the state tournament. If they win the team regional match they will play next Friday for the regional final.

SEASONS COMPLETE . . .

BOYS SOCCER - The Mason boys completed their 12-6 season in the Bull Run District semifinals. They defeated Central Woodstock in the first round, before a heartbreaking 3-2 loss to Manassas Park.

BASEBALL - The Mason baseball team also closed out their 10-11 season in the BRD tournament. The Mustangs shutout Madison 4-0 in the quarterfinals before losing to William Monroe in the semifinals.
