The Fairfax County Planning Commission gave approval to the Falls Church City Public School's application to expand Mount Daniel Elementary.
The Falls Church School Board received news this week that enrollment for the 2016-17 school year is spiking at all schools with a division wide rate of growth at nearly 6.6% on the first day of school; an additional 167 students over last year.
