9 Muses Literary & Art Magazine
9 Muses is a print and online magazine created by George Mason High School students who come together each year to contribute to the literary and art world. The name 9 Muses appropriately refers to the Greek goddesses who preside over the Arts and Sciences, inspiring artists to excel in their pursuits.
We keep this tradition by publishing art, photography, fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry, drama, and other artistic work you wish to share with the world through our magazine. During the first semester an online and free print issue of 9 Muses magazine is published, followed by a compilation issue in the fourth quarter that features the best works from previous issues as well as select new submissions received before the end-of-year deadline.
The staff of 9 Muses collaboratively chooses which submitted writings and artwork will be published in the magazine. Staff members also edit and layout the publication. If you are interested in joining the 9 Muses staff or have any questions about the group, click here.
